Method
 

Step 1: Prepare the Tuna
  1. Open the cans of tuna and drain thoroughly. Flake the tuna gently with a fork and place it in a medium mixing bowl.
Step 2: Chop the Vegetables
  1. Dice the cucumber, halve the cherry tomatoes, finely chop the red onion, and slice the olives. Add them to the bowl with the tuna.
Step 3: Add Fresh Herbs
  1. Chop the parsley and dill finely and add them to the salad mixture.
Step 4: Make the Dressing
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Step 5: Combine
  1. Pour the dressing over the tuna mixture. Gently toss until everything is evenly coated.
Step 6: Taste and Adjust
  1. Taste the salad and adjust seasoning with additional salt, pepper, lemon juice, or olive oil as needed.
Step 7: Rest
  1. Let the salad rest for 10–15 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
