Ingredients

  • Bacon
  • Onion

Method
 

Preheat the Oven
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
Cook the Bacon
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside. Chop once cooled.
Brown the Beef
  1. In the same skillet, add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
Add Aromatics
  1. Add diced onion and garlic to the beef. Cook for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
Season the Beef
  1. Stir in salt, pepper, smoked paprika, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
Prepare the Creamy Mixture
  1. In a bowl, whisk together cream cheese, heavy cream, and eggs until smooth.
Combine Ingredients
  1. Stir the creamy mixture into the beef, followed by half the cheddar, half the mozzarella, and most of the bacon.
Transfer to Baking Dish
  1. Spread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Top with Cheese and Bacon
  1. Sprinkle remaining cheese and bacon on top.
Bake
  1. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
Rest Before Serving
  1. Let the casserole rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
