Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups shredded cheese mozzarella, cheddar, or a blend
  • 1 large egg
Optional seasonings:
  • Salt
  • Garlic powder
  • Paprika
  • Chili powder
  • Italian seasoning

Method
 

Preheat the Oven
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Mix Ingredients
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheese and egg. Mix thoroughly until a thick, sticky dough forms.
Spread the Dough
  1. Place the dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Use a spatula or your hands to spread it evenly into a thin layer. The thinner the layer, the crispier the chips.
Score the Dough
  1. Use a pizza cutter or knife to score the dough into triangle or square shapes. This makes it easier to break apart after baking.
Bake
  1. Bake for 10–14 minutes, or until the dough is bubbling and golden brown around the edges.
Cool and Break
  1. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes. The chips will crisp up as they cool. Break along the scored lines.
Air Fryer Method (Optional)
  1. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper.
  2. Spread dough thinly and score.
  3. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 6–8 minutes, checking frequently.
  4. Cool before breaking into chips.
