Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream or coconut cream
  • 1 cup fresh spinach optional for natural green color
  • ½ teaspoon peppermint extract or ¼ tsp mint extract
  • 2 tablespoons powdered erythritol or monk fruit sweetener
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup sugar-free chocolate chips or chopped sugar-free dark chocolate
  • 1 scoop vanilla collagen protein or keto protein powder optional
  • 1 tablespoon MCT oil or coconut oil optional
  • 4 –6 ice cubes
  • A few drops of natural green food coloring optional

Equipment

  • 1 High-speed blender
  • 1 Measuring spoons and cups
  • 1 Rubber spatula
  • 1 Serving glass or shake bottle
  • 1 Straw (optional)

Method

  1. Start with the liquid base by adding almond milk to your blender. This helps blend the solid ingredients evenly.
  2. Add the heavy cream or coconut cream for richness and creaminess.
  3. Add fresh spinach if using. This will blend into a smooth, vibrant green base without affecting taste.
  4. Add the peppermint extract—start with ½ teaspoon and adjust after tasting.
  5. Add the sweetener of your choice.
  6. Add vanilla extract to balance the flavors.
  7. Add the ice cubes to help thicken the smoothie.
  8. If using optional ingredients, add collagen powder and MCT oil.
  9. Blend on high speed for 30–45 seconds, until smooth and creamy.
  10. Add the sugar-free chocolate chips last and pulse the blender 3–5 times to distribute without over-blending.
  11. Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately.
