Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak or ribeye, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley or 1 tablespoon fresh parsley for garnish
  • Optional: ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • Optional: squeeze of lemon juice for finishing

Method
 

Step 1: Prepare the Steak
  1. Cut the steak into even 1-inch cubes.
  2. Pat the pieces dry with paper towels—this helps achieve a perfect sear.
  3. In a mixing bowl, season the steak with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder.
  4. Toss until all cubes are evenly coated.
Step 2: Heat the Skillet
  1. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add olive oil and allow it to heat until shimmering.
Step 3: Sear the Steak Bites
  1. Add steak pieces in a single layer, ensuring space between them.
  2. Sear for 1–2 minutes per side without moving them to develop a crust.
  3. Flip with tongs and cook until browned on all sides.
  4. Remove steak from skillet and set aside, leaving any juices behind.
Step 4: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
  1. Lower heat to medium.
  2. Add butter to the skillet and melt it completely.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add optional red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Step 5: Combine Steak with Garlic Butter
  6. Return steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Cook for another 1–2 minutes to heat through.
  8. Add a squeeze of lemon juice (optional).
  9. Sprinkle fresh parsley on top.
Step 6: Serve Immediately
  1. Transfer steak bites to a serving dish and enjoy while hot.
