Ingredients

  • 10 large eggs
  • ½ cup heavy cream or unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar, mozzarella, or Monterey Jack
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika or chili flakes

Method
 

Step 1: Preheat the Oven
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This temperature allows the egg muffins to cook evenly without drying out.
Step 2: Prepare the Muffin Tin
  1. Grease a 12-cup muffin tin generously with olive oil or butter, or line with silicone muffin liners to prevent sticking.
Step 3: Prepare Add-Ins
  1. Cook bacon, sausage, or any raw vegetables beforehand. Chop all add-ins into small, even pieces so they distribute evenly in the muffins.
Step 4: Whisk the Eggs
  1. In a large mixing bowl, crack all eggs. Add heavy cream, salt, pepper, and any dry seasonings. Whisk until fully combined and slightly frothy.
Step 5: Add Cheese and Fillings
  1. Stir in shredded cheese and chosen add-ins. Mix gently to distribute evenly.
Step 6: Fill Muffin Cups
  1. Pour the egg mixture into the prepared muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full. Eggs will expand as they bake.
Step 7: Bake
  1. Place the muffin tin on the center rack and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the centers are set and the tops are lightly golden.
Step 8: Cool Slightly
  1. Remove from oven and allow muffins to cool for 5 minutes before removing them from the tin.
