Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease an oven-safe baking dish.
Step 2: Prepare the Base
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, add cream cheese and sour cream. Stir continuously until smooth and fully melted.
Step 3: Add Buffalo Sauce and Seasonings
- Stir in the buffalo hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Step 4: Add Chicken
- Fold in the cooked shredded chicken, ensuring it’s evenly coated with the creamy sauce.
Step 5: Add Cheese
- Stir in half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. Mix until combined.
Step 6: Transfer to Baking Dish
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
Step 7: Top with Cheese
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella over the top.
Step 8: Bake
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly golden on top.
Step 9: Garnish and Serve
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
