Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ cup heavy cream or coconut cream
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 –2 tablespoons powdered erythritol or monk fruit sweetener
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup ice cubes
Optional add-ins:
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon MCT oil
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Spinach for extra nutrients

Equipment

  • 1 High-speed blender
  • 1 Measuring cups
  • 1 Measuring spoons
  • 1 Citrus zester
  • 1 Knife and cutting board
  • 1 Glass for serving
  • 1 Spatula (to scrape sides of blender)

Method
 

Prepare the Avocado
  1. Cut avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into the blender.
Add Liquid Ingredients
  1. Pour in unsweetened almond milk and heavy cream (or coconut cream). This helps blades move smoothly.
Add Flavor Components
  1. Add lime juice, lime zest, sweetener, and vanilla extract.
Add Ice Cubes
  1. Add the ice last to control thickness and temperature.
Blend Smoothly
  1. Blend all ingredients on high speed for 30–60 seconds until creamy and lump-free.
Taste and Adjust
  1. Taste the smoothie and add more lime juice for tartness, more sweetener for sweetness, or more milk to thin it out.
Serve Immediately
  1. Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy cold.
