Ingredients
  

  • 1 large fresh apple any sweet variety
  • 1 cup almond milk or preferred milk
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ frozen banana
  • 1 tablespoon nut butter optional
  • 1 –2 teaspoons honey or sweetener optional
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • Ice cubes as needed

  • Knife and cutting board

  • Glass or mason jar for serving
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Apple corer
  • Reusable straw

Method
 

Step 1: Prepare the Apple
  1. Wash the apple thoroughly. Remove the core and seeds. Chop into smaller pieces to ease blending. Peeling is optional but generally unnecessary.
Step 2: Add Base Ingredients
  1. Pour almond milk into the blender first. This helps blades move freely and prevents sticking. Add apple pieces and frozen banana.
Step 3: Add Flavor Components
  1. Sprinkle cinnamon evenly. Add vanilla extract and sweetener if using. Optional nut butter can be added at this stage.
Step 4: Blend Until Smooth
  1. Blend on high speed for 30–60 seconds. Stop and scrape sides if needed. Continue blending until completely smooth and creamy.
Step 5: Adjust Consistency
  1. If too thick, add a splash of milk. If too thin, add ice or extra banana.
Step 6: Serve Immediately
  1. Pour into a glass or mason jar. Garnish if desired.
