Begin by preparing all ingredients. Wash and dry the lettuce, slice the cherry tomatoes, and shred the cooked chicken if not already prepared.
Place the shredded chicken in a mixing bowl. Season lightly with salt and black pepper. If desired, mix in a small amount of dressing to keep the chicken moist and flavorful.
Lay a whole grain wrap flat on a clean surface. Spread a thin, even layer of creamy dressing over the wrap, leaving a small border around the edges.
Add a layer of lettuce across the center of the wrap. Top with seasoned shredded chicken and sliced cherry tomatoes. Add any optional ingredients at this stage.
Fold the sides of the wrap inward, then roll tightly from the bottom up to form a secure wrap. Press gently to keep it compact.
Heat a non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Lightly brush the surface with olive oil or butter.
Place the wrap seam-side down on the heated pan. Grill for 2–3 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula, until the wrap is golden brown and crispy on all sides.
Remove the wrap from the pan and allow it to rest for 1–2 minutes. This helps the filling settle and makes slicing easier.
Slice the wrap diagonally into halves or quarters and serve warm.
