Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • ¾ cup coconut milk unsweetened preferred
  • ½ ripe banana fresh or frozen

Equipment

  • Blender (standard or high-speed)
  • Measuring cups
  • Knife (if slicing banana)
  • Serving glass
  • Spatula (for scraping blender sides)
  • Reusable straw

Method

Step 1: Add Liquid First
  1. Pour coconut milk into the blender. This prevents blades from stalling and promotes smooth blending.
Step 2: Add Banana
  1. Add half a ripe banana. Breaking it into pieces helps blending efficiency.
Step 3: Add Frozen Pineapple
  1. Add frozen pineapple chunks last. Positioning frozen ingredients on top aids circulation.
Step 4: Blend Thoroughly
  1. Blend on high speed for 45–60 seconds. Pause if necessary to scrape sides.
  2. Continue blending until the mixture becomes completely smooth and creamy.
Step 5: Adjust Consistency
  1. Too thick → Add small splash of coconut milk
  2. Too thin → Add more frozen pineapple
Step 6: Taste and Refine
  1. Depending on pineapple sweetness, adjustments may not be necessary. However, optional enhancements include:
  2. Dash of vanilla extract
  3. Pinch of cinnamon
  4. Few drops of sweetener
Step 7: Serve Immediately
  1. Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy fresh.
