                    Ingredient Notes

                    Baby Bella Mushrooms:
Their firm texture and earthy flavor allow them to crisp beautifully in the air fryer while staying juicy inside. The natural moisture helps the coating stick perfectly.

                    Eggs:
Eggs act as a binder, ensuring the almond flour and Parmesan cling to each mushroom. They also give a subtle golden sheen when air-fried.

                    Almond Flour:
Adds a mild, nutty flavor and replaces traditional breadcrumbs to keep the recipe keto-friendly. It creates a satisfying crunch without extra carbs.

                    Parmesan Cheese:
Enhances flavor with a salty, umami kick. It melts slightly during cooking, adding a crisp, textured bite.

                    Garlic Powder:
Brings a savory note that complements the mushrooms’ earthy taste, balancing the nuttiness of the almond flour and Parmesan.

                    Smoked Paprika:
Adds warmth, subtle smokiness, and a beautiful golden hue to the coating without overpowering the other flavors.

                    Salt:
Draws out moisture from the mushrooms for extra crispiness and enhances all the seasonings.

                    Black Pepper:
Freshly ground black pepper adds gentle heat and enhances the richness of Parmesan and the smokiness of paprika.

                    Olive Oil:
A light spray ensures even browning and a crispy texture without excess grease, keeping the mushrooms golden and crunchy.
