Ingredients

One cup almonds
Four cups clarified water
One tsp. vanilla extract
One tbsp. monk fruit sweetener or Erythritol
Pinch of salt

Equipment

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Colander
  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Cheesecloth or nut milk beg
  • 1 Bottle or glass jar

Method

Put the uncooked almonds in a basin and add water to cover them.
Give them a minimum of 12 hours or overnight to soak.
The almonds become softer as a result, which facilitates blending.
Once the almonds have soaked, drain and give them a good rinse.
We can grab a blender & pour the four cups of clarified water & soaked almonds.
Blend on high for one to two minutes or till the almond milk gets smooth & the almonds are fully broken down.
We can transfer the almond milk mixture to the cheesecloth or nut milk bag which is placed on the bowl or vessel to remove the almond pulp.
We can squeeze the bag to extract as much milk as we can.
Return the filtered almond milk to the blender, and then stir in the vanilla extract, sweetener of choice, & a sprinkle of salt.
                    Mix thoroughly to combine.
Take the glass jar or bottle and pour the Keto Almond Milk in them.
Store the milk in the fridge.

                          • We can also add some additional quantity of almonds and also reduce the amount of almonds to make the thicker version of the almond milk.
                          • You can also add the vanilla extract to the milk to make this almond milk tastier.
